Pain
Living with Pain
When you're in pain your body may secrete a hormone that actually disturbs sleep
If someone is feeling pain, the body can be put into a state of stress. This state of stress is accompanied by an excessive secretion of certain hormones including adrenaline. This hormone can make it more difficult not only to fall asleep, but to enjoy a restful deep sleep during the night.
